I really didn't know what to expect as far as quality and sturdiness. It's been over 2 weeks and I'm impressed with the quality. Well worth the price, I highly recommend it.
the metal arm and clamp are good to go….the tablet holder needs to be upgraded….somewhat flimsy to me….
Only thing that I would like more is a wall mounted version, but I made this work.

This is worked out really great for me mount right to the side of the desk by my laptop very strong, furry angled, and flexible. I will definitely be getting more of these for my other areas.
I did, a lot of shopping around before I chose an arm. This one is definitely the best in my opinion. The arm itself holds up my laptop, spins fully, a ton of adjustments. But more importantly, the screen rest slides from both sides, and the top bracket flips open, leaving a ton of screen options!
I will buy another one, and recommend!
Works better than I thought
Pro:
The attachment itself is solid, the swivel is solid, the arm is solid.
Con:
The attachment point at the head is a VERY limiting one trick pony. To appeal to a wider group of persons who don't just wish to mount a phone, a standard tripod screw attachment should ALSO be available, then people could mount cams for podcasts, GoPros, and the like.
Overall:
Good arm, good base attachment, poor design for the smart phone, and NO attachment for standard tripod screws -- which could have opened up an entirely new world for the user. Not much thought. TWO STARS.

I am pleasantly surprised that this I-Pad holder is so strong. The build quality is quite good, with a table clamp that holds firmly and does not need frequent adjustment and with a nice firm set of pivots that hold my phone or iPad very stable while I work on my full size laptop or other desktop equipment. I have used this in two locations, both clamped vertically and horizontally, and quite frankly I like this product far better than I expected. My daughter saw mine, and now wants one for herself. I also like that it is fairly lightweight, and small enough to tuck into a side pocket on my backpack for travel. Good stuff.
